A “Leche y Leche” is a delicious concoction of condensed milk, steamed milk and espresso traditional from the Canary Islands in Spain.
INGREDIENTS
• 1T = 15g Condensed milk
• 1 shot of Espresso (good quality please!)
• Whole or 2% milk (or your favorite milk)
• Ice cream to serve with
• 1 egg
PROCEDURE
Place the condensed milk on the bottom of your glass or cup.
Steam and foam the milk, for best results, take the milk only up to about 50ºC or 120ºF. You can add as little or as much milk as you like depending on how strong or light you like your coffee.
Pour into the glass on top of the condensed milk.
Drizzle in the espresso and watch how the colors separate!
Stir (or eat the condensed milk on the bottom with a spoon) and enjoy!
